19 – 20 Eylül tarihleri arasında “Avrupa Değerleri ve Güvenliği Göç ve Mülteci Krizleri Karşısında ” adlı toplantı Makedonya’nın Üsküp şehrinde gerçekleşecektir. İki panelden oluşacak olan toplantıda ilk olarak göçmen ve mülteci sorunu insan hakları, yardım ve güvenlik açısından irdelenecek, sonra ise bu krizlerin Avrupa vatandaşlarını güvenlik ve dayanışma açmazına süreklemesi konuları ele alınacaktır.

Migration and refugee crisis which European and Western Balkans countries are facing, have open many questions related to the socioeconomic context, humanitarian perspective, human rights, values, security and other dilemmas.
European Movement in the Republic of Macedonia (EMRM) as part of European Movement International is actively participating and contributing in the debates and policy making mechanisms by involving mainly civil sector and international institutions as well.
In this regard, EMRM in cooperation with the Institute for Geostrategic Research and Foreign Policy (IGRFP) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Macedonia and Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung office in the Republic of Macedonia (KAS), supported and co-financed by the Central European Initiative (CEI) Cooperation Fund is organizing an International Conference “European values and security faced with the Migration and Refugee crises – A Perspective from the Civil Society.”
Our concept is to invite representatives from national councils of European movements and civil society’s organizations from 17 country member of CEI and from three non CEI, highly concerned countries with the migrant crises like Germany, Greece and Turkey.
