Dr. Deniz Sert received her BA in International Relations from Koç University and her MA in European Union Studies from the London School of Economics, and her PhD in Political Science from the City University of New York in 2008. After her doctorate, she worked in different research projects on international migration at Koç University Migration Research Application and Research Center, MiReKoc, and gave various lectures on international relations at different universities. Dr. Sert's research focuses on compulsory, international, irregular and transnational migration, conflict, border management and civil society; He has many academic publications on these subjects and a Jean Monnet Chair in "Immigration and Mobility in Europe". She is also the editor of the International Migration magazine of the International Organization for Migration.
Fikret Erkut Emcioğlu, who continues his academic career as a lecturer at the Faculty of Business Administration and Management Sciences at Okan University, graduated from Saint Michel French High School and received a bachelor's degree in law and politics at Strasbourg III Robert Schuman University. He studied English Law at the University of Essex. He completed his master's degree in European Union Law at Paris 2 Panthéon-Assas University. Emcioğlu, who gives lectures on European Union Law and Constitutional Law, also has seven years of journalism and announcer experience at the International French State Radio. Emcioğlu, who was the International Relations coordinator of the Bee Movement in 2006 and worked as the foreign legal consultant of Okan Holding between 2007 and 2011, has been working with the Berlin-based think tank called the European Stability Initiative (ESI) since 2004, and he carries out various researches on the social, economic and legal framework of EU-Turkey integration.
She heads the Department of International Relations and the European Union Research Center at Okan University, Istanbul. Her research analyzes Turkish politics through the interactions between domestic and international factors, focusing mostly on civil society actors and bottom-up movements. She is passionate about women's involvement in foreign policy and is the leader of the Women in Foreign Policy Initiative (WFP14) in Istanbul that encourages and promotes women's participation in foreign policy mechanisms. She was an EASI-Hurford Next Generation Fellow for the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace in 2014. She is an advisor on the editorial boards of the International Studies Perspectives as well as the Turkish Policy Quarterly.

Elif Çağla Kurtuluş received her BA from Özyeğin University, Department of International Relations. Kurtuluş is the co-founder and first president of the OzU Diplomacy Club, which aims to introduce students to the art and profession of diplomacy.
